A compact glass storage jar for a small bag of whole coffee beans.

At the touch of a button, the jar is vacuum-sealed; the lid restores the lost vacuum.

No hand pump required. Use the power supply specified by the manufacturer when charging.

You can see the beans through the glass, but light is not blocked. Place the jar in a dark cupboard.

Do you recognize this when storing coffee beans?

A freshly opened bag of coffee is nice, but the way you store the rest also deserves attention.

  • The opened bag closes poorly

After pouring it out a few times, the packaging stays open or the sealing strip doesn't close properly. You find the bag half-open.

  • You only have a small supply

You usually buy 250 grams of coffee beans, but the tin or jar you use is much larger and looks out of place in your coffee corner.

  • The beans are in the light

You keep the beans visible by the kitchen window. That looks nice, but light and heat are not suitable for a good storage place.

A compact glass jar that creates its own vacuum seal

The Lite version of Barista Essentials has a glass jar for approximately 250 grams of whole coffee beans and a black electronic lid. At the touch of a button, you can vacuum seal the jar.

The lid detects when the vacuum decreases and restores it. It won't make your coffee fresh again: buy good beans, grind them just before use, and place the glass jar in a dark, cool place.

Who is this Lite version suitable for?

For home baristas who buy small bags of whole coffee beans, are looking for a compact storage container and do not need an additional display for temperature, humidity or date. Choose the Pro version instead if you do want to see that information.

What do you get and what don't you get?

You choose the Lite vacuum jar with a glass container for approximately 250 grams and a black USB-C rechargeable lid. Lite does not have a date, temperature, or humidity display. The glass wall lets light through, so the cabinet remains the best place.

Do you want to store larger quantities and see data on the lid? Then compare the Pro vacuum jar of 500 grams. For measuring a small portion, you can use a coffee scoop for whole beans and a scale.

A permanent storage spot for your small bean supply

You don't have to manually pump the air out. The electronic lid of this Lite container creates a vacuum and restores it if it drops. This is especially convenient when you regularly take out a small amount of beans.

Glass is useful for seeing the contents, but offers no protection against light. That is why I don't place such a container decoratively in the sun. A good storage location and fresh whole beans remain at least as important.

Vacuum sealing helps preserve freshness, but does not make older coffee beans fresh again.

No. The manufacturer specifies whole coffee beans. Ground coffee can get into the pump section and damage the mechanism. Use a different, suitable container for ground coffee.
